WATERCOLOUR PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS

WATERCOLOUR PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS
Learn about choosing the correct papers, paints and brushes. Learn how to mix colours (colour theory), control water and a variety of techniques for creating fun and beautiful works of art.

REQUIREMENTS 1 Reeves watercolour pad A3 size (available from The Warehouse), 1 Jasart Watercolour Pocket box (12 1/2 pans $40 available at Gordon Harris), 2 plastic bottles suitable for cleaning brushes, 1 Da Vinci Tin Brush set - 6 green brushes (available from Gordon Harris $35), OR 1 Princeton Real Value Brush set (5 brushes available at Gordon Harris), 1 roll of masking tape - available at Paper Tree

Time: 7-9 pm.
7 Weeks.
2 hours per week.
Course Fee: $141.00.
WATERCOLOUR PAINTING ADVANCED
This course will provide students with the opportunity to work on their own projects, while benefiting from advice on colour theory, techniques and problem solving tailored to each student's project. Challenges to 'stretch' students will also be available. Students must have participated in the Beginners Watercolour Painting Course or have some other watercolour painting experience to join this course. Drawing basics available as needed.
